Lloyd's Nordic Baltic Area Manager

Erik Börjesson

Erik joined Lloyd’s 2009 and is responsible delivering Lloyd’s commercial market strategy and managing the network of Lloyd’s for the Nordic Baltic region. The tasks also including oversight of all regulatory areas. Erik’s career spans over 25 years in the Nordic insurance industry including executive roles with Willis Towers Watson and Marsh. Erik obtained a Master in Laws at Uppsala University and the education included a year of studies in Maritime Law, Petroleum Law and Marine Insurance at the Scandinavian Institute for Maritime Law in Oslo.

Our customers are the businesses and entrepreneurs who drive and serve the Norwegian economy and they come to Lloyd’s to access the scale, diversity and financial strength of our specialist insurance and reinsurance market. We play an important role in the promotion and management of the Lloyd's brand in Europe providing support to Underwriters, Brokers and Coverholders to maximise their European business development opportunities and initiatives.
