Lloyd’s Europe Day 2020

Friday, 2 October 2020

We have redesigned the Lloyd’s Insurance Company briefing for the Managing Agent community, originally due to take place earlier this year, to maximise the opportunities that virtual event platforms can provide and to better fit with the working practices and technologies we are using on a daily basis.

The event was an opportunity to hear from the European leadership team, to learn more about Lloyd’s in Europe, our strategy and how the business can support you and your business as we move towards the end of the Transition Period and looking ahead into 2021.

Lloyd’s Chief Executive Officer, John Neal, Chief Executive Officer, Lloyd’s Insurance Company & Regional Director EMEA, Sonja Rottiers and Sheila Cameron, Chief Executive Officer of the LMA opened the webinar which was then be followed by a series of technical sessions throughout the afternoon.

The technical sessions featured facilitated conversation, to maximise the time on the webinar for attendees and were designed to be as interactive as possible and respond to your feedback and questions.

There was the possibility to engage directly with senior Lloyd’s Europe colleagues working across operations, regulatory and compliance, claims, underwriting, delegated authority, public tenders and business development. This was an opportunity to provide feedback and ensure that we are working in partnership with you to service and grow our European business.

We plan that this format will become a more regular touchpoint for you as we look to work together to push the business forward.
